"Mädchen machen Technik": summer program for school girls (05.-06.09.2017)
During this 2-day summer program, the participants learned about atmospheric physics and dynamics, made their own experiments to better understand temperature, pressure, convection, clouds, the Coriolis force, etc. They made their own weather forecast and compared it to satellite images and they finally computed a numerical weather forecast, which they compared to the output of a computer model.
